With appealing design and pleasing functionality Weco\'s new generation convinces. Precise tracing by automated processes and graphic display to visualise and control the form and all relevant data. Secure decentration and blocking with Optical Trace for drill hole detection and Modifier for shape modification. Adaptive edging with variable clamping pressure and edging force for extreme shapes and different materials - of course with more than 5 years of experience with drilling.

Edge 455 drill - High-End Edger with integrated drill function
Edge 455 drill is a high-end edger with integrated drill fucntion for the production of lenses for rimless and nylor frames. Production in one clamping - first edging then drilling - is of particular importance. An adaptive clamping system with variable clamping pressure for very flat lens forms and an adjustable edging force for highly-coated lenses assure precise edging results. To finish regular frames lenses a choice of lens bevelling programs are available. Edge 455 drill can be configured with different grinding wheels including polishing adapted to the individual situation.

The sole CNC centring system without system and parallax error
The WECO CAD III is the computer-centring device for high-precision and reliable blocking of spectacle lenses of any type. The innovative technology is an absolute technical sensation, enabling for the very first time parallax-free measuring in combination with the high-resolution display. On the display the spectacle lenses and the mould are presented in upright position, the right way round and distortion-free. The centring result is identical with the centring on the monitor.

The advanced decentration and blocking system with shape modification
Cad 5 is the advanced decentration and blocking system with innovative functions such as Optical Trace and Modifier. Optical trace is a function for the optical tracing of lens shape and of drill hole coordinates. The built in high-tech optical recognition and image processing system enables precise positioning of drill holes.
The Modifier is designed to modify the lens shape of rimless frames. Thus demands of customers or production requirements can be taken into consideration - an ideal spectacle is prepared and assures customer satisfaction.

Tracer 3

User friendly 3D-Tracer with groove determination for exact fitting precision
Trace 3 is a safe 3D-Tracer which determines the groove angle and bevel length for extremely high precision. A large TFT color display and an automatic tightening of frame stands for best user friendlyness. For the first time the glass contraction of the frame is visualised. A comparison of right and left side can be carried out optically or by means of the measurement values. This is to detect frame mistakes prior to edging.
